WIND FORCE SEPARATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind force separator for separating mechanically heavy- weight matters from light-weight matters and combustible middle-weight matters in wastes inexpensively and with high selection efficiency. SOLUTION: Middle-weight matters and light-weight matters out of wastes 5 thrown in from a throwing-in hole 6 are dropped onto a springboard 8 of adjustable length set on the wall face of a heavy-weight settling chamber 2 right below a gas jet nozzle 7, and separated from the heavy weight matters by receiving sufficient wind pressure from the gas jet nozzle 7. A branching plate 10 of adjustable angle is provided on the lower section of a side section communicating opening 4 to vary the separation points of wastes and improve the selection efficiency. Also a gas jet opening 13 is formed on the wall face of a heavy-weight matter settling chamber 2 below the gas jet nozzle 7 to separate the light-weight matters entangled with the heavy-weight matters.
