HEALTHY COTTON AND MANUFACTURE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide practical cotton by which not only a warm thick bedquilt capable of soundly sleeping and warm clothes and the like comfortable to sit in can be relaized but also air can be purified and which is suitable for holding health by mixing tourmaline fine powder at a specific rate in opened raw cotton. SOLUTION: Lump-shaped raw cotton is untied by performing opening processing, dust is removed, and tourmaline fine powder having the grain size of 1 to 6μ is mixed at a rate of 1 to 200g to the untied raw cottong 10kg on a cotton sending stand to send the untied raw cotton to a cotton scutcher. Afterward, cotton beating processing or the like is performed, and belt-like cotton obtained by performing cotton manufacturing (curding) processing is dried at 110 to 190 deg.C. This dried belt-like cotton is wound round a winder, and next, the wound belt-like drien cotton is proportionally divided into single sheets of 300g, and are packed ten sheets by ten sheets. Work to form mixed cotton of lump-shaped raw cotton for a thick bedquilt and waste cotton as raw material cotton can be similarly processed. Work to put the obtained cotton in a thick bedquilt and the like and clothes and the like can be performed by an ordinary means.
