SOLUTION: The frequency pull-in area of the quick-response range, which can speedily remove the frequency offset of a carrier, is decided by using a micro processor 34. When the detected frequency offset is inputted to the area, the frequency of a primary local oscillation signal in a duplex conversion tuner 12 is changed at every prescribed steps, and frequency offset is speedily removed. The microprocessor 34 judges whether the level of the output signal of APCLPF 32 is smaller than first reference voltage Vref1 or larger than second reference voltage Vref2. When the result is 'NO', the frequency offset is within the range of the pull-in area of the quick-response range. Thus, the carrier restoration control of quick-response is executed when CNT is not larger than a value N-times, which is previously set. Even if the process is repetitively controlled for N-times, a system is reset when the carrier restoration of a receiver does not advance much more. |
