Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the photographic element in practicable and environmental fields without adversely affecting its performance and to enhance the heat stability of the element high in chloride content against change of temperature by forming a silver halide emulsion layer to be reactionally incorporated with a specified dithiolone-1-oxide compound. SOLUTION: This photographic element has the silver halide emulsion layer to be reactionally incorporated with the dithiolone-1-oxide compound represented by the formula in which (b) is a C(O), C(S), CH2 , or (CH2 )2 group; each of R and R is an H or halogen atom or an aliphatic or aromatic or heterocyclic group or an alkoxy, hydroxy, aryloxy, alkylthio, arylthio, acyl, sulfonyl, acyloxy, carboxy, cyano, sulfo, or amino group or each is an atomic group necessary to form a 5- or 6-membered ring or polycyclic ring together with each other. |
