RECEIVING DISPLAY DEVICE FOR MULTIPLEX BROADCAST RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience for users by displaying the receiving state of a packet of receiving multiple broadcast data. SOLUTION: When the reception of an FM multiplex broadcast is started, the multiplex broadcast data which are received and demodulated by an air data demodulating LSI 2 are stored in an external memory 3. Then the broadcast data are successively read out of the memory 3 and shown on a display 4. An NG/OK flag is inputted to every shift counter, every time each data packet has been received within a single frame in a multiple reception mode, and the frequency that has been previously set is calculated. Then a microcomputer 1 calculates the percentage of the number of effective packets and displays it. The receiving state is shown for the data packet in the present FM multiplex broadcast reception mode, thereby improving the convenience for the users.
