ROTARY BURNER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary burner for enhancing holding properties of a flame while suppressing adherence of soot to a burner body. SOLUTION: The rotary burner comprises a cylindrical burner body 18 with a bottom having a primary air supply port 15 substantially at a center of a bottom wall 18A and a plurality of secondary air supply ports 16, 17 at a peripheral wall 18B, a rotary scattering unit 20 mounted at an end of a rotary shaft 12A inserted into the body 18 via the ports 16, 17 to a scatter liquid fuel supplied from a fuel supply tube 31 by a centrifugal force, and an igniter 21 disposed at the fuel scattering position of the unit 20. Swirling flow creating means 28 for setting secondary air supplied into the body 18 to swirling flow are provided in the ports 16, 17.
