Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved multimedia messaging service function to a communication system by recording a message in a callee's mail box on multimedia connection that is established by using the callee's identification information. SOLUTION: A multimedia bridge 18 uses a multimedia number to an offered callee's message server 42 and establishes a multimedia connection. The multimedia bridge system 18 offers a multimedia number and addressing information for a callee to the server 42. The server 42 reproduces multimedia greeting that is associated with the callee's multimedia number. A caller leaves a multimedia message to the caller on the server 42, and the message is stored in a mail box that is associated with the callee's multimedia number.
