BAR TYPE SPACER FOR BAR ARRANGEMENT IN COMPOSITE SLAB VALLEY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet both aspects of workability during installation work and stability after installation. SOLUTION: This bar type spacer for bar arrangement within a composite slab valley has engagement parts 2 at both ends for the crest of a deck plate, and a plurality of reinforcement bar rests arranged at an intermediate part in parallel at such intervals as corresponding to the valley of the deck plate. Also, the spacer is laid on the deck plate along a direction orthogonal with the valley. In this case, a spacer body 1 has at least one engagement lever 4 extended downward, and a hook 5 at the lower end of the lever 4 is forcibly coupled to the overhang of the rib or a joint extending in a lengthwise direction from the bottom of the valley of the deck plate or the neighborhood thereof against retaining elasticity, due to a vertical pushing force.
