Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment composition capable of exhibiting an especially excellent dispersive power, flowability and damping water resisting property in the case of using as a pranographic printing ink by coating a dis-azo pigment with a calcium salt of a rosin and an aluminum salt. SOLUTION: This pigment composition is obtained by coating (A) a dis-azo pigment obtained by coupling (i) a tetrazonium salt consisting mainly of 3,3'- dichlorobenzidine with (ii) a coupling component consisting mainly of acetoacetoxylidide with (B) a calcium salt of a rosin and an aluminum salt. In the component (B), it is preferable to contain 0.1-3mols of calcium and aluminum based on 1mol of rosin, and the ratio of calcium to aluminum is (80:20)-(30:70). Also, the component (B) is preferably 15-40wt.% of the component (A). Thus the composition has an excellent dispersion property and also an effect of reducing a greasing.
