DISLAY TERMINAL DEVICE AND ITS COORDINATE CALIBRATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the display terminal device and its coordinate calibrating method which enable recalibrating operation even if improper calibrating operation is done. SOLUTION: A microcomputer displays the right lower and right upper positions of the screen of a CRT as touch positions (steps A1 and A4) and a touch panel controller performs calibration for setting as new reference position data physical coordinate data that an operator has outputted by touching and indicating a touch panel according to respective touch positions. Further, the microcomputer displays the center of the screen of the CRT as a touch position (step A6), decides whether or not logical coordinate data obtained by converting the coordinates of physical coordinate data that the user has outputted by touching and indicating the touch panel according to the touch position through a controller on the basis of the new reference position data are within a permissible range, and allows recalibration when it is decided that the data are outside the permissible range (step A9).
