Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve necessary information from position information on a portable terminal, send information which is necessary at the position of the field terminal to the field terminal, and make patrol efficient by making a field inspector carry the portable terminal which incorpolate a GPS receiver. SOLUTION: Service engineers 1 and 2 patrol and inspect the plant by carrying the portable terminals 202 and 204 in which GPS incorporated. The portable terminals 202 and 204 immediately recognize the patrol inspection places (positions and directions wherein the service engineers 1 and 2 face) of the service engineers 1 and 2 by GPS and send information on them to a monitor room computer 100 by communication (radio). The monitor room computer 100 displays facility information definition information and facility management information corresponding to the places on the displays of the portable terminals 202 and 204 to support the patrol inspecting operations of the service engineers 1 and 2. According to the information displayed on the portable terminals 202 and 204, the service engineers 1 and 2 determine patrol paths (route), and patrol and inspect facilitates and devices.
