Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin joining type aspherical lens having a desired surface shape even under the condition that the amount of light of the light source of a light generating device changes or the light emitted from the light source has a luminous intensity distribution by curing a resin liquid through the irradiation of the light having a uniform illuminance distribution by a method wherein the distance between a glass lens and a mold is brought close to a predetermined value. SOLUTION: A light generating device consists of a light source 1, a reflecting optical system 2, a converging optical system 3 and an optical fiber bundle 4. An extra-high pressure mercury lamp is employed as the light source 1 so as to guide a light to the converging optical system 3 with an elliptic reflecting mirror employed as the reflecting optical system 2 in order to be converged on the plane of incidence 4a of the optical fiber bundle 4 by means of the converging optical system 3. The light guided through the optical fiber bundle 4 is irradiated from the plane of emergence 4b for curing a resin liquid. By providing the optical fiber bundle 4 in the light generating device, the fine positional adjustment of the plane of emergence 4b of the optical fiber bundle 4 towards a matter to be irradiated becomes possible so as to realize the uniform irradiation of the light over the whole surface of the resin liquid.
