Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high efficiency scroll compressor which can prevent compression leakage in a wide operation region including a low speed operation region. SOLUTION: A motor and a compression mechanism are housed in a sealed container. In the compression mechanism, a fixed scroll 3 which forms a compression space by meshing a lap 3a of a bed plate 3b with a lap 4a of a bed plate 4b, a revolving scroll 4, a crank shaft 6 for transmitting rotating force of the motor to rotate the revolving scroll 4, and a frame 7 which is engaged with the fixed scroll 3 for supporting the crank shaft 6 are provided. A difference (g) between a thickness dimension D of the bed plate 4b of the revolving scroll 4 held between the fixed scroll 3 and the frame 7 and a dimension S of a difference 7c between a surface on which the frame 7 is in contact with the fixed scroll 3 and an inner surface 7b of the frame 7 is set to 5 to 25μm.
