Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a surface flaw or an internal crack and perform a maintenance and management with high reliability and frequency by carrying an alternating current containing pulse current to a coil stuck to the side surface of a nose part, and detecting the vibration by the resulting electromagnetic repelling force by an acceleration sensor. SOLUTION: When a pulse current or alternating current is supplied from a power source 3 to a coil 2, an induction current in reverse direction to the coil current is carried to a rail 1. The rail 1 is vibrated by the electromagnetic repelling force between the coil current and the induction current. The vibration of the rail 1 is detected by an acceleration sensor 4 as vibration sensor, and inputted to a waveform analyzer 5 to analyze the waveform, and the vibration characteristic (vibrating frequency, amplitude) is examined, whereby the normal or abnormal judgment of the rail 1 can be automatically performed at an optional timing, and the frequency and reliability of the inspection of the rail 1 can be enhanced.
