ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR, MANUFACTURE THEREOF AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor free from the occurrence of defective image quality and the photoreceptor manufacturing method by introducing electrophotography by a contact electrostatic charging method. SOLUTION: As for the electrophotographic photoreceptor 10 which is constituted by successively laminating a charge generating layer 4 and a charge carrying layer 1 on a conductive supporting body 3 and which is electrostatically charged by the contact electrostatic charging method, the overlap parts of the defects in the film thickness direction on the charge carrying layer 1 are suppressed so as to be three or less per film thickness of 25μm. The charge carrying layer 1 is formed by applying charge carrying layer forming coating liquid several times. The electrophotographic photoreceptor 10 is loaded in an image forming device provided with a contact electrostatic charging means 11 for electrostatically charging the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor in contact with the photoreceptor and a developing means 14 for forming a visual image by developing, and then, the photoreceptor 10 is provided for use.
