Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive temperature coefficient thermistor for protection against overcurrent with which the response time in which the current is attenuated because of temperature increase of the positive temperatre coefficient thermistor can be easily adjusted. SOLUTION: A positive temperature coefficient thermistor 10 for protection against overcurrent is provided with a positive temperature coefficent thermistor device 1, outer leads 2 which are electrically connected to an electrode 5 of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor 1 and an insulating envelope 3 covering the positive temperature cmfficient thermistor 1. Conductive heat accumulators 4 having a heat capacity corresponding to the response time in which the current is attenuated because of temperature increase of the positive temperature coefficient thermistor 1 are adhered to the electrode 5.
