Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of heat radiation of a long-length light source and to enhance luminance. SOLUTION: A dotted printing pattern and a light reflector 7 are provided on either principal surface of a light transmission plate 4 on the end face of which a fluorescent lamp 5 is disposed, and a liquid crystal panel 3 is disposed on the other principal surface side through a light diffusing plate 6, then a reflection part for a light source 11 is provided along in the longitudinal direction of the lamp 5 so as to cover over. The reflection part 11 is constituted of a 1st reflector 11a arranged by the side of the reflector 7 on either principal surface side of the plate 4 and a 2nd reflector 11b inclined and arranged on the other principal surface side so that a gap 12 may be left between them. Irradiating light from the lamp 5 is introduced to the plate 4 while it is reflected by the 1st and the 2nd reflectors 11a and 11b, emitted from the other principal surface and projected to the effective display area of the panel 3.
