Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate and recover such nuclides as uranium which are difficulty in radiation control and recover a residual calcium fluoride in such a form as can be stored and managed easily and can be reused as a fluid medium. SOLUTION: A calcium fluoride containing uranium is heated in an electrolytic cell 12 with an cathode 10 and an anode 11 to make it a molten salt. Metal uranium is generated and stuck on the surface of the cathode 10 by electrolytically reducing the molten salt. The calcium fluoride molten is cooled and solidified which has been separated by sticking the metal uranium on the surface of the cathode 10. The solidified calcium fluoride is recovered. The recovered calcium fluoride is broken into pieces, and then is classified. |
