BUILDING UNIT AND UNIT BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten retreat distance from a border line and make effective use of a site with a corner cut-off angular part by constructing a unit building using a building unit chamfered at an angular part of rectangular shape from the top view. SOLUTION: Wall panels 2a, 2b, 2c ate erected at three peripheral edge parts of a floor panel l chamfered at the angular part of a rectangular shape, and a wall panel 2d is erected at the chamfered angular part where the wall panels 2b, 2c intersect, to form a building unit 10. The wall panel 2d at the chamfered angular part of the building unit 10 is disposed at the angular part of a site with a corner cut-off while ensuring retreat distance, determined in the Building Standard Act, from a border line, and a conventional building unit of a rectangular shape from the top view is connected to construct a unit building. With the chamfered building unit 10 thus disposed at the angular part of the site, the retreat distance as a whole can be shorted, so that the site with the corner cut-off angular part can be effectively used.
