Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drain water from infiltrating into a thrust lock mechanism when a valve cover is opened even if no seal packing is provided between the thrust lock mechanism and a support shaft in the valve cover opened or closed by the thrust lock mechanism. SOLUTION: This drain valve A is constituted of a valve cover 2 mounted on a drain port 1a at the upper section of a drain main body tube 1, a support member 4 coupled with the drain main body tube 1 at one end, and a thrust lock mechanism 3 fixed on the lower face of the valve cover 2 and repeatedly set in turn to the state that the other end side of the support member 4 is stored inside and locked when the valve cover 2 is continuously reciprocated and the state that the lock is released and the support member 4 is stretched.
