Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decolor a dyed fiber product in a prescribed pattern in a short time under a clean work environment by scanning and irradiating the dyed fiber product with laser beams on the basis of a prescribed patern. SOLUTION: This dyed fiber product such as dyed jeans is scanned and irradiated with laser beams having a constant irradiation diameter on the basis of prescribed pattern data such as preliminarily made letter data. The extend of the decolorization in the laser beam-irradiated region can be changed by changing the strength standard of the laser beams, and the decolored part does not require any other posttreatment.
