Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons by which an organic waste liquor from a hydrochloric acid producing step thereof is dehydrated by distillation to return the resultant dehydrated organic waste liquor as a raw material to a reactional step for reacting aromatic hydrocarbons with chlorine gas or hydrogen chloride gas, and the organic waste liquor from the hydrochloric acid producing step that has been discarded can effectively be utilized in the method for producing the chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons. SOLUTION: This method for producing chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons comprises a reactional step for reacting aromatic hydrocarbons with chlorine gas or hydrogen chloride gas and synthesizing the chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons, an absorbing step for absorbing a waste gas containing the hydrogen chloride formed as a by-product in the reactional step in water and a hydrochloric acid recovering step for carrying out the liquid-liquid separation of an absorbent prepared in the absorbing step and recovering the hydrochloric acid. In this case, the method further comprises a dehydrating step for dehydrating the organic waste liquor recovered when performing the liquid-liquid separation of the absorbent in the hydrochloric acid recovering step to |
