Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To provide a small cathode-ray tube extended in life even in use at high temperature by forming a conductive film of tin oxide with little adsorption of gas inside the glass vessel of the cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION: When vapor of trichlorostanate is introduced into a masked glass vessel 1 for a cathode-ray tube, and the vapor is heated to a specified temperature, a conductive thin film 2 of tin oxide is formed on the inner wall surface of the glass vessel 1. The masking is removed, a phosphor screen 4 is applied to the face plate 3 of the glass vessel 1, and an electron gun 5 is set. The glass vessel 1 is heated to a specified temperature, and the inner part of the glass vessel 1 is highly vacuumed and sealed, whereby a cathode-ray tube is completed. Thus, a small cathode-ray tube extended in life even in use at high temperature can be provided. |
