Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To provide an electron-irradiated fluorescent screen capable of protecting a bright and highly fine image free from defects by arranging phosphor particles in two layer or less through a pressure sensitive adhesive film fixed to a glass base. CONSTITUTION: A thin film forming a conductive transparent electrode is fixed onto a glass base 1 forming the face plate of a cathode-ray tube. Several drops of an adhesive solution of 50g of crotonic acid (CH3 CH=CHCO2 H) dissolved in 100g of ethanol 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)acetate (C10 H20 O4 ) is given on the surface having the thin film formed thereon of the glass base 1, and the glass base 1 is rotated at a specified rotating speed for a specified time to form an uniform adhesive film. Phosphor powder is sprinkled over the adhesive film to form a fluorescent screen having the phosphor particle adhered in 1.5 layers. Thus, an electron-irradiated fluorescent screen capable of projecting a bright highly fine image free from defects can be provided. |
