PORTABLE PATH-INFORMATION DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately obtain road information to destination by voice without disturbing others only by inputting telephone number by inputting the telephone number and obtaining a destination position and obtaining path information from the present position to the destination position based on map information. SOLUTION: When a telephone number is inputted to a control device 21 via an input interface 25 by a push switch 11, the switching device 21 actuates a GPS sensor 5 via a sensor controller 23. Then switching device 21 calculates the present position of the device itself based on a signal inputted from the sensor 5 via a sensor data processing part 24. Further, the control device 21 can obtain a destination position corresponding to the inputted telephone number by searching a target position memory 22a. Then, the control device 21 obtains the path information from the obtained present position to the searched destination position by searching a map information memory 22b.
