MOVABLE BRIDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable bridge which is easy in opening and closing of a water channel and simple in structure. SOLUTION: A floating tank 4 of which bridge beams 3 are formed in a floatable capacity is arranged at the lower end part of a pier 3 suspended from both end sides of a pier 2, and a pier fixing means 8 capable of fixedly opening the floating tank 4 is installed on the staged part 7b of a base 7 set at the bottom part of a water channel W so that the floating tank 4 can be placed on it. Also a pump unit 16 capable of draining and filling water is installed on the floating tank 4 and thus, with the pier 2 floated by the floating force of the drained floating tank 4, the pier 2 can be moved by a tug boat in the opening direction of the water channel W.
