Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the crop injury of an azide compound by scattering an azide compound generating hydrogen azide by decomposition on soil and scattering a crop injury preventing agent consisting of a specific compound on the soil. SOLUTION: Soil scattered with an azide compound (e.g. sodium azide) is further scattered with an agent containing an isothiocyanic acid ester compound or a compound capable of generating an isothiocyanic acid ester compound. The isothiocyanic acid ester compound is preferably a compound of the formula R-N=C=S (R is a 1-8C alkyl or a 6-15C aryl), especially methyl isothiocyanate. The compound generating methyl isothiocyanate is e.g. dazomet agent or carbam agent. The scattering amount of the isothiocyanate compound, etc., is selected to scatter a crop injury preventing agent containing the isothiocyanate compound as an active component in an amount of 0.3-4 equivalent based on 1 equivalent of the sum of the azide compound and the hydrogen azide remaining in the soil. |
