Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for exterminating ascarides and the like in sand pools by utilizing a combination of electroosmosis with Joule heat for the in-situ sterilization, cleaning, and drying of the sand pools contaminated with coli bacteria and ascarid ova. SOLUTION: A positive electrode 1 and negative electrode 2 are buried facing each other in a contaminated sand pool. A highly electrolytic solution 3 is dispersed into the sand, and current stopping walls 4 are set up. A DC current is applied across the electrodes 1 and 2 for the utilization of the electroosmotic effect and Joule heat.
