PHS BASE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for taking layout design of a panel and components or the like into account even in an area with a high ambient temperature by providing a heat pipe delivering heat generated from a PHS device main body and stored in a PHS device main body package box into underground so as to cool the PHS main body. SOLUTION: A PHS base station is made up of a plastic case 2 containing a PHS device main body 1 and protecting it, a heat pipe 3 delivering the heat generated in the inside of the plastic case 2 to underground 10 to cool the inside of the plastic case 2, a concrete trough main body 9 and a concrete trough cover 8. A proper amount of a liquid vaporized at a prescribed temperature is sealed in the exhausted metallic heat pipe 3 and when the liquid is evaporated from an evaporation section 17, the liquid takes lots of heat of vaporization from the surrounding part and the gas produced by the evaporation section 17 is moved in the heat pipe 3 up to a condensation section 16, which discharges heat of condensation then the heat is transferred at a high efficiency.
