Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition having low stimulation, excellent in foaming abilities and slipperiness and in use feeling during and after washing and especially suitable for a liquid detergent for body. SOLUTION: This detergent composition contains 5-90wt.% mixture consisting of (A) 99-1 pts.wt. glycine derivative of formula I (R is a 5-21C alkyl, alkenyl or hydroxyalkyl)(a salt such as an alkali metal salt, a trialkanolamine salt, a basic amino salt, etc.) and (B) 1-10 pts.wt. ethylene oxide-propylene oxide block copolymer of formula II [(a) and (c) are each 0-500, (a)+(c)=1-500; (b) is 1-500]. An aqueous solution of this composition expresses pH4-8 when diluted ten times with water.
