Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleansing agent composition having low stimulation and excellent frothing property, giving good feeling during and after cleaning, exhibiting excellent storage stability and especially suitable as a liquid cleansing agent for body. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) a glycine derivative of the formula (R is a 5-21C alkyl, an alkenyl or a hydroxyalkyl) (or its salt such as an alkali metal salt, a trialkanolamine salt or a basic amino acid salt) and (B) a buffering agent. The pH of the 10wt.% aqueous solution of the composition is 4-6 (especially preferably 5-6) and its buffering capacity is 0.005-0.01g- equivalent/l, preferably 0.006-0.009g-equivalent/l.
