CARRIER TRAVELING OVER CHANNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily travel on the channeled ground before leveling, the soft ground, the sandy ground, the clay or the lawn by forming a single wheel unit out of a wheel capable of travelling on top of the side wall of a channel and a guide wheel inscribed on the side wall, and installing a plurality of the units on the lower part of a load-carrying platform. SOLUTION: The lower side of a load-carrying platform 2 is provided with a pair of wheel units 9 made of travel wheels 6 for a travel on the side wall top 5 of a U-shaped channel 4 and guide wheels 8 inscribed on the side wall part 7 of the U-shaped channel 4, along a channel breadthwise direction. The travel wheels 6 are rotatably mounted on travel wheel bearings 11 via travel wheel axles 10, and the guide wheels 8 are similarly mounted on guide wheel bearings 12. Also, the wheels 6 and 8 are respectively mounted on the horizontal and vertical parts of a wheel jointing plate 13, thereby forming a wheel unit 9. According to this construction, a carrier 1 can travel on a channel without any need of a footboard, and even on channels of different breadth.
