DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING THEFT

PURPOSE: To provide an electric shock to a thief as well as alarming and to allow a user to switch on/off of the alarming and the electric shock in order to prevent theft of an antenna by providing a specific switch to an antenna unit and a signal wire connecting the connection between a current generating section and a power supply to ground of a transceiver unit. CONSTITUTION: When a cable 12 is broken for the theft of an antenna unit 1, an antenna connection monitor signal wire 17 is broken, the connection between a very small current generating section 13, an alarm device 4 and a GND of a transceiver unit 2 is disconnected and an operating voltage is applied to the very small current generating section 13 and the alarm device 4 from a power supply 5. Thus, as soon as an alarm tone is generated, a very small current is generated by the antenna unit 1 to provide an electric shock to a thief. On the other hand, when the user removes the antenna unit 1 and the transceiver unit 2, a switch 16 is open so as not to connect the power supply 5 to the very small current generating section 13 and the alarm device 4.
