SHEET FOR URINE SAMPLING AND DETECTION METHOD FOR COMPONENT IN URINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a urine inspection body which is conveniently used and which is practical and hygienic by a method wherein a water absorbing sheet in which one kind selected from a group composed of benzoic acid, its salt, their derivative and boric acid has been preserved is used and a component in urine is detected in a detection part which is different from a urine sampling part and to realize an inspection method for the component of the urine. SOLUTION: In a sheet for urine sampling, a water absorbing sheet in which at least one kind selected from a group, containing benzoic acid, its salt, their derivative and boric acid has been preserved and a water repellent sheet are overlapped at least partly so as to be bonded. Then, urine is sampled in a part, of the water absorbing sheet, which is not overlapped with the water repellent sheet, a detection reagent is dropped onto the part of the water absorbing sheet which is overlapped with the water repellent sheet, and components in the urine are detected. Human urine is enumerated as the urine, chemically important components such as sugar such as grape sugar or the like, protein, occult blood and the like are enumerated as components in the urine, and especially the grape sugar is especially important. As the water absorbing sheet, filter paper, felt, cotton cloth, a syntheric plastic or the like is enumerated, and preferably the filter paper is used.
