SIMPLE HANDGRIP STRUCTURE FOR CARDBOARD PACKAGE CONTAINING BEVERAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple handgrip structure for a cardboard package containing beverages, which is easily held and prevents beverages from spilling from a mouth, etc., of the package. SOLUTION: A sheet 4 for handgrip is made of cardboard or of a plastic sheet, and valley folding lines are vertically formed on the sheet 4 for handgrip. On the boundary of these valley folding lines, one side of the sheet 4 is formed as a sticking base portion 4a, while the other side thereof is formed as handgrip portions 4b, 4c, and this sticking portion 4a is stuck on a side face 1c of a cardboard package 1. When the cardboard package is used, the handgrip portions 4b, 4c are folded on the valley folding lines so as to assume a substantially right angle with respect to the side face 1c of the cardboard package 1. The sheet 4 for handgrip has the paired handgrip portions 4b, 4c formed on the both sides of the sticking base portion at the central part in the widthwise direction thereof. A tab 4f is formed at the top end of the handgrip portion 4c on one side, and a slit into which the tab 4f is inserted to be engaged therewith is formed at the top end of the handgrip 4b on the other side.
