Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stability of a vehicle without any deterioration in safety in an anti-lock brake control. SOLUTION: In an anti-lock brake controlling device and a method thereof, when anti-lock brake control is carried out on the basis of signals from wheel speed sensors 51 detecting wheel rotational speeds of front wheels and rear wheels in a vehicle and a signal from a G sensor 52 detecting an acceleration of the vehicle, an estimated vehicle body speed obtained by using the G sensor 52 and the wheel sensors 51 is used for the rear wheels, while an estimated vehicle body speed obtained by using the wheel speed sensors 51 is used for the front wheels.
