SOLUTION: The mounting members 49 of first and second reflecting mirrors 35, 36 integral and movable between a plurality of imaging lenses 33 and 34 for imaging a laser beam are regulated to correct the focal distance irregularity of the lenses, the beam having a necessary diameter is imaged on the surface of a photosensitive member to prevent the occurrence of the image deterioration. The mounting member of a third reflecting mirror 37 which makes it possible to regulate the radiation of the beam to the predetermined position on the surface of the member 43 is regulated to prevent the occurrence of the image deterioration due to the deviation of the emitted position of the beam. The cover 41 of a recording unit is so set as to make it possible to be opened or closed corresponding to the part 46 of the bottom which makes it possible to be opened or closed of an exposure optical unit to facilitate the maintenance.
