Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding equipment that can measure arc voltage accurately even in a narrow groove and that can perform stable groove profiling in the vertical and horizontal directions on the basis of the arc voltage thus measured. SOLUTION: This welding equipment is constituted of a welding power source 1, controller 2, welding torch 3, vertical slide base 5 and horizontal slide base 6; and the controller 2 is provided inside with an oscillating controller 21, driving circuit 22 for the horizontal slide base, AVC controller 31 and a driving circuit 32 for the vertical slide base. The oscillator controller 21 consists of a circuit 23 for detecting an oscillating position, circuit 24 for measuring voltage at both ends of oscillation, and a circuit 25 for controlling horizontal stopping positions. In the case where the left or right end of a welding torch 3 in an oscillating motion is detected by the circuit 23, each welding arc voltage EL, ER is measured by the circuit 24. In the case where the center position of the welding torch 3 is detected, the measured arc voltage E is compared with a reference voltage E0 , with constant arc length control carried out by the AVC controller 31.
