TAPE WIRE WITH FUSE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily control a break current amount, and quickly and economically perform a restoration work when a fuse is blownout by applying the constitution that a conductor clamped with two tapes is divided and the ends of divided conductor parts are kept electrically continuous to each other with a fuse piece. SOLUTION: A tape wire with fuse 1 has a conductor 2 between a first and second insulating tapes 4 and 5, and a slit is formed at least on one of the tapes 4 and 5, thereby exposing the conductor 2. In addition, a detachable fuse piece 6 is laid with both ends 6A and 6B connected in series to the ends 2A and 2B of the separated conductor parts for the electrical continuity thereof. According to this construction, an electrically continuous state is kept, when the amount of flowing current is proper. Also, when an overcurrent flows, the fuse piece 6 is fused, thereby protecting a circuit and electrical equipment. In this case, the fuse piece 6 can be attached and detached to and from the ends 2A and 2B of the conductor parts with solder or screws. Thus, a restoration work can be quickly and easily implemented only by changing the fuse piece 6.
