Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing method by which a clear image with high density and without fogging can be stably formed extending over a long term by stably supplying sufficient toner required for a developing action and to provide an electrophotographic method by which a non-magnetic one-component developing action is realized and the cost of developer, the cost of a device and a running cost can be drastically reduced by using an organic photoreceptor, specially the single-layered organic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: This developing method for electrophotography is constituted so that an elastic developing roller 2 which is coated with non-magnetic one- component toner and on which a toner thin layer is formed by the regulation of a layer thickness regulation member is brought into contact with the photoreceptor on which an electrostatic latent image is formed by an electrostatic charge action and an exposure action. Then, the bulk density of the toner thin layer is set to be 0.35-0.55g/cm and the toner quantity of a developing part is set to be 0.5-0.80mg/cm .
