Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery having the large capacity, and excellent in rapid charging characteristics and rapid discharging characteristics. SOLUTION: In a secondary battery, a positive pole 5 and a negative pole 6 are formed through electrolyte. Either the positive pole 5 or the negative pole 6 contains material grains related to the rapid discharging reaction, the grain is composed of at least two or more phases capable of relating to the charging or discharging reaction, and at least one phase of the phases is provided with thin holes to be formed by melting, and cracks. By this structure, a secondary battery having the high capacity, and in which the rapid charging and discharging characteristics are improved is provided.
