Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method which can print repeatedly and erase under given conditions and can use a heating means for the high speed printing and erasing such as a thermal head. SOLUTION: In this image recording method for recording on an image display section composed of a polymer resin matrix turning into a transparent state when being cooled from a temperature zone T1 down to the normal temperature and also turning into the opaque state when being cooled from a temperature zone T2 (T2 > T1 > normal temperature) down to the normal temperature and an organic low-molecular compound dispersed in the polymer resin matrix as main components, the image display section is cooled from the temperature zone T2 down to the normal temperature to turn the image display section into the opaque state, and then an image is recorded on the image display section.
