Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display various resistance values with few marks, by adding symbols such as a bar, point, circle and asterisk to the parts above or below the numbers. SOLUTION: A resistance value indication 16 '100' is displayed on the surface of a protective film 15 of a resistor 10. Bars added to the parts below the numbers show the following numerical values. When a bar is added to the part below the first character position, it indicates × 10 . When bars are added to the parts below the first and second character positions, they indicate ×10 . When bars are added to the parts below the first, second and third character positions, they indicate × 10 , that is, '100' indicates 100kΩ. On the contrary, bars added to the parts above figures indicate the following numerical values. When a bar is added to the part above the first character position, it indicates ×10 . When bars are added to the parts above the first and second character positions, they indicate × 10 . When bars are added to the parts above the first, second and third character positions, they indicate × 10 . Thereby resistance values from 0.1Ω to 999kΩ are indicated by using three figures.
