Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a short circuit between first and second electrodes by sandwiching a PTC element between unit cells, connecting the unit cells together in line without causing movement, and reducing the overall length of the battery pack having the built-in PTC element. SOLUTION: This battery pack has PTC element 3 sandwiched between unit cells 4 arranged in line. First and second electrodes 1, 2 for connection to the unit cells 4 are connected to both sides of the PTC element 3. The PTC element 3 is formed into a ring shape, having a center hole into which the projecting electrode 4A of the battery can be inserted, and formed thicker than the projected length of the projecting electrode 4A. The first and second electrodes 1, 2 have respective recesses into which the unit cells 4 can be fitted. The unit cells are fitted into the recesses in the first and second electrodes 1, 2 and connected together on a straight line. |
