SOLUTION: The registration of 'lottery' is designated through a touch key board among those transaction types that are shown on a color display of a customer operation part, and a customer puts his cash card into an automatic teller machine. Then a main body control part 11 reads the account information on the customer recorded on the magnetic stripes of the cash card via a slip/card processing part 12. When the password number of the customer is inputted through the touch key board, the part 11 sends the password number and the account information to the host computer of a center. Then the collation is carried out for these number and information. When a lottery card is inputted, the part 11 reads the information on the kind, the number, etc., which are printed on the card surface through the image reading part of a passbook/lottery card processing part 13 and sends these information to the host computer.
