SOLUTION: In a construction method of a dome-like roof which comprises a plurality of arch members 6 which are joined with each other in the form of a dome, a working floor 3, which may travel, is laid out in a dome area in the radial direction and the arch members 3 are assembled on the working floor 3 in an arch member assembling area 4. The working floor 3 is arranged to travel to a specified position in the circumferential direction so that the arched members 6 may be set up. The arched members 6 are joined in the form of a dome by repeating these processes.
