Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition which has low irritativeness, gives no damage to the skin and the hair and is improved in, e.g. foaming ability and the persistence of foam by using an acyl lactylate, a specified salt of coconut fatty acid condensate, and hydrolyzed collagen as the constituents other than water. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing 1-40wt.% of at least one acyl lactylate of formula I (wherein RCO is a 6-18C acyl; (n) is 1 to 3; and M is H, an alkali metal, ammonium, or a counter ion selected from substituted ammonium groups having at least one 1-3C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl), 5-20wt.% salt of coconut fatty acid condensate of hydrolyzed collagen (e.g. a sodium, potassium, ammonium, triethanolamine, diethanolamine or monoethanolamine salt), 2-10wt.% hydrolyzed collagen, 1-40wt.% of at least one surfactant selected from, e.g. salts of an alkyl sulfate represented by formula II (wherein R is an 8-22C alkyl and M is the same as in formula II), and water.
