Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain large opening even when only one cover is not largely opened and closed by providing the front surface of a printing device with the first cover and the second cover opened and closed by linking with each other. CONSTITUTION: This printing device is provided with the second cover 4 so as to be freely opened and closed with respect to the first cover 3. Besides, it is provided with a mechanism interlocking so that the cover 4 is continuously opened when the cover 3 is opened. The interlocking mechanism is constituted so that the cover 4 and a movable abutting member 33 are connected by a wire 31 and oppositely moved up and down with a pulley 30 fixed to the cover 3 as a supporting point. Then, the abutting member 33 abuts on a fixed abutting member 36 provided on the fixed cover 2 when the cover 3 is slid upward. When the cover 3 is elevated in such a state, the cover 4 is also moved to be slid upward by being pulled by the wire 31.
