MANUFACTURE OF CURVED CONVEYOR BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curved conveyor belt manufacturing method that can suppress wear between bead material and a belt body even in case of using linear bead material so as to ensure a long service life of a belt. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a curved conveyor belt is provided with a process of positioning linear bead material 2 along a large diameter side edge part of a belt body 1 of tapered cylinder shape, a process of clamping the bead material 2 by outer and inner metal molds 3, 4 so as to follow the tapered face of the belt body 1, a process of heating the outer and inner metal molds 3, 4 so as to fuse the bead material 2 to the belt body 1 (high frequency fusion of the bead material 2 to belt body 1 using the outer and inner metal molds 3, 4), and a process of sewing the fused part of the belt body 1 and bead material 2.
