Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent articles stored in racks from dropping down in case of any earthquakes. SOLUTION: Rudder-like articles drop preventing fences 22 are supported between the rack pillar 16 and another rack pillar 16 of racks 12 slidably in vertical direction. Longitudinal bars 24 of the articles drop preventing fences 22 are placed on shear pins attached to supporting shafts erected on a floor surface so as to have the weight load of the articles drop preventing fences 22 supported by the shear pins. In each shear pins, an approximately V-letter shape groove is formed so as to be broken when any force more than a specified intensity is actuated in an earthquake. In normal cases, the lateral bars 26 of the articles drop preventing fences 22 are positioned on the front face sides of shelf boards 20. When any earthquake vibration acts on racks 12, shear pins 38 are broken so as to drop the articles drop preventing fences 22 on a floor surface 32, but since each lateral bar 26 is arranged in the intermediate position between each shelf board 20 and shelf board 20, any stored object placed on each pallet 18 is prevented from its drop. |
